Steel For Factories, Fit-Outs And Facilities

Our focus is steelwork for commercial and industrial premises. We welcome enquiries from main contractors, facilities managers, manufacturers, commercial landlords and education estates teams. The starting point is the same: what needs to be made, what it must do and how it will fit the site.

Some projects arrive with a full engineer’s package. Others begin with a failed component or an awkward space that needs a purpose-made solution. We help define the information needed for a useful fabrication quotation, including any design or specialist assessment required.

A Practical Scope, Written Down

Good fabrication starts with clear responsibilities. Before an order, confirm who owns the design, the survey, the connections and any site installation. An agreed drawing revision and written scope give the buyer and fabricator the same reference.

Our service pages explain the questions to resolve for each type of work. They cover materials, finishes, access, inspection and cost factors so you can approach a quotation with a clearer brief. No standard certificate should be treated as a substitute for checking the capability required by your particular project.

Standards Follow The Work

Structural work needs an appropriate design and execution specification, including BS EN 1090 requirements where applicable. Commercial stairs need coordination with building use, guarding and any fire strategy. Machinery-related work needs assessment in the context of safe equipment use.

Ask for the relevant fabricator credentials and project documentation before ordering. The applicable standards, testing and records should be agreed for the scope, rather than assumed from a general description of steel fabrication.

From Enquiry To A Local Conversation

Use the enquiry form to tell us about the project and its location. With your agreement, your contact and project details may be passed to a suitable local firm to discuss the work. Your submission is a request for a conversation, rather than a confirmed booking.

Review the proposed contractor’s credentials, scope, programme and terms before you place an order. Read our privacy notice for information about handling your enquiry, or explore the areas covered around Derby.
